CATHODIC PROTECTION
DDRC 3
The DDRC 3 (Pipe Coating Defect Detector) is a device which detects pipe coating defects using the DCVG method
Since 1995, the DDRC has made it possible to search for pipe coating defects using the DCVG technique with an accuracy of approximately 10 cm.
Its principle is to dissociate the gradients emitted by a rectifier from parasitic gradients (stray currents, telluric currents). This measurement is carried out using two rods (dry rods or electrode rods).
A cyclic switch (the SRDDRC) with a frequency of one hertz is placed in series in the withdrawal connection. This pulsation will be found at the level of the gradients circulating in the ground and it is read on the DDRC 3.
The DDRC 3 is delivered in a quality shockproof case with the following accessories:
- 1 DDRC 3
- 1 SR-DDRC
- 2 dry sticks
- 2 cane sticks
- 1 harness
- 1 notice
