Current generator for GVI insulation value

The GVI allows you to simply calculate the insulation resistance (m²) of your structure.

This is a current generator equipped with a potential sampler.

The current is injected between an auxiliary stake and the tube to be controlled. This results in an increase in voltage between the electrode and the tube. It can calculate the resistance of the insulation value.

According to standard A05 - 655: the insulation value is the potential delta (displayed directly on the GVI) divided by the injected current (read on the device), all multiplied by the surface of the structure.

  • Injection current: from 1 µA to 300 mA

  • Max voltage injection: 10 V
